ESTATE! The late Doctor who owned this Corvette passed away 7 or 8 years ago. His daughter has kept the car stored in her basement since his death. Our firm, hired a rollback service to bring it to our facillity. We believe that the Doctor was in the process of restoring it when he passed away. The car is an outstanding project for someone to finish. Here is my professional assessment!

1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. The car came from the factory with a 350 cubic inch engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The Doctor decided that he wanted a big block, so he located a big block donor car and transplanted the engine into this vette. Included with the car is what we believe to be the factory 350 engine. This car now has a 68 or 69 model 427. I personally believe that this engine has been rebuilt. We have cranked the car and it runs outstanding! Since the car has been in storage for years, we would recommend that the car not be driven so you can drain the old fuel. The 427 shifter plate goes with the car identifying 427 cubic inch with 390 horsepower. It is possible that the engine was built with higher horsepower. The car has 2 tops, the soft top and a hardtop. The hardtop is in good condition was has been stripped to prepare for paint. The body is in overall very good condition with only a few cracks at the hood area. A new fiberglass nose was installed. Interior door panels, seats and dash are in good condition. There are several bags of new parts that are included with the sale along with several factorys manuals and literature. Overall, this is an outstanding car to finish! Sells As Is.
