Selling for the Heirs of the late Ovid Merchant. Mr Merchant was well known owner of the Montevallo Auto Supply/Bumper to Bumper in Montevallo, Alabama.

This vehicle is currently not running and sells as is. Our staff pulled the vehicle from the late owners basement and towed it to our facility in Alabaster, Alabama. The clutch pedal is to the floor and no operating. The rear brakes are locked up and the wheels do not roll. We did not attempt to start the vehicle due to it sitting for several years. Most likely the fuel in the tank is bad and the fuel system will need to be addressed by the new owner. The heirs believe that car has not been out of the garage or cranked in 6 years.

Body, Paint, Stainless and Interior are excellent. It appears to have its original 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed on the column. The tires are dry rotted. One glass is cracked and their are some bubbles in several places in other pieces of glass. The car does not have any obvious damage and no obvious rust. The paint is good and has a few places where it shows small areas of bubbling. This car was well cared for and driven to shows by Mr Merchant. It was his pride and joy and it shows!

Inspection Monday through Fridays, 10am - 3pm. We will not allow anyone to attempt to start the vehicle due to the potential damage it could cause due to old fuel.
